We will be shooting Monument Valley from the top of Hunt’s Mesa at sunset on the 10th, and sunrise on the 11th. We will meet our guides around 3:00 pm in Monument Valley on the 10th for the drive up the mesa, so Sedona departure time will be around noon. I will confirm exact departure times and locations in late August. After shooting sunset, our guides will provide a campground dinner of preselected choices. It is also a full moon night, so we may have some nice photo opportunities after dark. We will camp on the mesa that evening, then shoot sunrise before departing mid-morning on the 11th. Our guides will also provide breakfast that morning. We should arrive back in Sedona mid-afternoon.
Tents, sleeping bags and/or cots will be provided. You may also bring your own sleeping bag. I will contact each attendee prior to the trip for camping accessory and meal choices. The cost is $300 per person, payable in cash when we meet the guides on the 10th.
